Finding Lost Outdoor Cats - General Tips

  • Search immediately
  • Don't panic. While you need to act quickly, remain logical and as calm as possible
  • Cats are cautious; they will hide nearby until a threat is over
  • Gently call your cat while searching. Your cat may be too scared to fully respond, but listen for some response
  • Your outdoor cat may be hiding near home. Try a baited humane trap with pungent things like liver and fish
  • Be patient. Have faith you will be reunited
