Finding Lost Outdoor Cats - Owner Behavior 1

Try to avoid behaviors that will inhibit rather than help your search:

  • "Tunnel Vision" - Focusing on inaccurate theories. Cats do not wander off to die when they are sick. They hide in silence and can die if they are not taken to a vet
  • "The Cat Came Back" - If your cat has been gone for hours longer than normal, you need to react, now
  • "Grief Avoidance" -Don't let others discourage you into quickly giving up your search
